Dr. Jeff Gardner graduated from The Medical University of South Carolina in 1992. He is involved in many professional organizations including The South Carolina Dental Association, The Seattle Study Club, The Academy of General Dentistry, and is a past president of The Coastal District Dental Society.

Dr. Gardner is a member of the leadership council of The South Carolina Donated Dental Services. He received his Mastership in The Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) in 2015. This award requires the completion of 1100 hours of approved continuing education courses. At least 400 of the hours require “hands-on” coursework. Only 2% of dentists in the United States have achieved this high honor.

Dr. Weaver is from Greenville, N.C. where she attended East Carolina University. She received a B.S. Biology, B.A. Chemistry degree and was president of the Pre-Dental Honor Society, graduating with Magna Cum Laude in 2014. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill and continued her dental studies at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Here, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Weaver enjoys patients of all ages and is proficient in digital, cosmetic and pediatric dentistry. She is passionate about her career in dentistry and enjoys being able to restore confidence in her patient’s smile with each visit.

Dr. Weaver enjoys exploring new restaurants, cooking and exercising. She is married to her husband, Dewey, and they enjoy spending time on the water with their daughter Anne Merritt.

Anna began working here in 2014 as a dental assistant, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care and a passion for helping others feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. After furthering her education, she returned to practice in 2018 as a licensed dental hygienist, bringing with her advanced clinical training and an even deeper commitment to oral health.

Anna provides gentle, thorough care and takes pride in building lasting relationships with her patients. She strives to create a positive, welcoming environment while educating patients on the importance of maintaining lifelong oral health.

Outside of the office, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their two children, Lilah and Owen. Whether it’s family outings or relaxing at home, she values making meaningful memories with her loved ones.

Elizabeth is from Columbia, S.C. She has lived in Charleston since 1991. Liz graduated from the College of Charleston in 1995. She received an Associate Health degree from Trident Technical College in 2001. Liz has been a hygienist with the practice since 2010. She enjoys exercising, boating, and spending time with her husband and son.

Bridgette was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, and graduated from Trident as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant. Since joining Smiling Oak Dentistry in 2017, she has been dedicated to creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through the door. Bridgette enjoys helping patients understand their treatment plans, answering questions, and ensuring they feel comfortable, informed and confident throughout their dental journey. She is proud to work alongside both Dr. Gardner and Dr. Weaver as part of a team committed to exceptional patient care.

Outside of the office, Bridgette enjoys spending time on the boat, planning parties and special events and making memories with family and friends. She is the proud aunt of Kalanie and Barron, who bring endless joy to her life.

Molly grew up in Saint George, South Carolina and graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2025 with a B.S. in Public Health. She is dedicated to creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for patients. Outside of assisting Dr. Gardner and Dr. Weaver, she enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, and attending concerts with her family and friends.

Lisette grew up on Long Island, New York. She moved to Charleston, South Carolina in the Summer of 2004 with her husband Mike. They have two sons and a daughter. During the week you can find her at the front desk answering calls, scheduling appointments, treatment plans, working on your insurance needs, and accounts receivable. She enjoys playing with her USTA  tennis teams, going to the beach, walking, and just spending time with the family.

Natali was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She has lived in the Charleston area for more than 20 years. She is married to Chad and they have 17-year-old twin boys – Harrison and Hudson. They enjoy traveling, boating, and Clemson sports. Natali went to Trident Technical School for Dental Assisting and worked as a Certified Dental Assistant for 15 years. Now you can find her at the front desk helping patients with scheduling appointments, accounts receivable, treatment plans, and filing insurance.
